Felipe Vicini “We Will Continue Sponsoring Sports”

Businessman Felipe Vicini, Chairman of the CRESO program, committed last night to continue sponsoring sports and national athletes with aim towards the upcoming Toronto Pan American Games and the Olympic Games in Brazil for 2016.

The opinions expressed by the Dominican impresario were stated during the recognition act made to all medalists of the Veracruz Games.

The activity took place in the Corporate Meeting Room at Claro HQ. “When we began this program over four years ago together with the COD, we always thought long-term. From Mayaguez to London we completed one Olympic cycle, and with this recently concluded Central American and Caribbean Games, we are at the midpoint of our second” said Vicini during his intervention.

In that order, he stated that a demonstration that proves CRESO is committed to long-term investment and to athletic development, to the point where it is involved in both their academic preparation as well as their training.

“Remember that CRESO is also their academic support, and all member athletes are in the classroom, either completing their high school education, or their university career, if not undertaking post-graduate studies”. Vicini explained

During the act also spoke Luisín Mejía, Chairman of the COD and José Billini, Executive Director for CRESO.
