EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO. – VICINI, the renowned investment firm announced on Thursday their relaunching as INICIA, effective today.
Felipe Vicini, Chairman of the Firm, explained the decision was made based on the inspiring vision of social impact the fund holds over educational investments. “We inverted the surname VICINI and made way for INICIA, a name which reflects our legacy and, at the same time, represents our evolution in asset management”, he expressed.
During a breakfast held with media directors and the main commentators, in a hotel located in the capital city, Vicini explained that the asset management fund through their investment funds, are co-managed by specialized partners.
“Funds are: Energy & Industry, managed by Putney Capital Management; Financial Services, managed by Agrega Partners; Real Estate & Tourism managed by TERRA RD Partners; Asset Recovery by DAF Management; INICIA Education by INICIA Education Partners; and Food & Beverages by IBS Investment Management”, so stated the executive.
Felipe Vicini emphasized that INICIA is committed to generating long-term value towards developing the Dominican Republic and the Region.
In the final part of the meeting, Vicini affirmed that in “INICIA we believe in value which transcends for generations to come and creates sustainable growth for all”.
