I identify myself as one of the journalists who supports 100% the “Creando Sueños Olímpicos” CRESO program. Before CRESO became a “Country Brand” in the sports field, Manuel Luna invited me to a meeting with Antonio Espaillat.
The main topic was to explain to me the scope of the program and I was asked to support it. When I learned about what CRESO would be, I immediately fell in love, with nothing in return!
I think it has been a “Tremendous booster” for sports and support for the Government itself. Their investments exceed hundreds of millions of pesos and their athletes speak highly of the way they are treated.
Felipe Vicini has achieved many business accomplishments, but the support for sports and the youth should be one of his greatest legacies.
In 2011 CRESO was incorporated as a non-profit organization composed of the Dominican business community, and the COD, as a technical-sports entity. They provide support for Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Equestrian, Fencing, Gymnastics, Golf, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, Swimming, Weightlifting, Tennis, Taekwondo, Skateboarding, Table Tennis and Sailing (Kite Surfing).
